Kaleidoscope Festival celebrated its third year at Alexandra Palace on Saturday with a line up that included Orbital and Happy Mondays.
Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon, David Rodigan MBE and The Magic Numbers also played the one-day festival - with DJ sets from Crazy P Soundsystem, Craig Charles, DJ Yoda, Zero 7, and PBR Streetgang.
Meanwhile the comedy stage saw performances from Dom Joly, Jessica Fostekew, Ed Byrne, Huge Davies and Sindhu Vee.
Audiences enjoyed the entertainment against a backdrop of sweeping views across London and acres of parkland. The north London festival also featured an immersive show exploring the Palace's Victorian basement, and children's entertainment and activities.
Simon Fell, events director at Alexandra Palace said: "The festival was superb from start to finish - it was truly amazing to look out across Alexandra Palace Park and see so many smiling faces and people dancing.
"From opening up our basements to welcoming some amazing artists on stage, there was something for everyone. Happy Mondays was nothing short of emotional and it was brilliant to see the crowd there in numbers to pay tribute to a band that led the way in the Manchester scene of the early 90s. The event finished with Orbital, who did a storming set. For me there was nothing more magical than hearing that beautiful vocal and synth sound of 'Belfast'. Probably a highlight of a lifetime.
"A massive thanks to everyone who came and all who worked to make the event a success. Kaleidoscope now belongs to North London in its sound, it’s style and swagger. We're already looking forward to what next year's event could bring."
