- Labour won 45 of 48 seats to retain control of Islington, with the Green Party winning the remaining three.
- Polls were open on Thursday, May 5 from 7am to 10pm
- The Islington count took place at the Sobell Centre throughout Friday, May 6
- Counts in Barnet, Camden, Westminster and Brent were overnight on Thursday into Friday. The count began on Friday in Haringey and Hackney.
