A teenage girl was reportedly raped in an Islington park in the early hours of Saturday (November 26).
Police were called to the scene at Highbury Fields at 3.57am following reports that a girl in her teens had been raped.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers responded and located the victim who is being supported by specialist officers.
"A male, known to the victim, has been arrested on suspicion of rape. He remains in police custody.”
Police said enquiries are ongoing.
