Comedian Aisling Bea is hosting her annual festive food drive at The Bill Murray, Angel Comedy Club this week.
The all-day Christmas party at Angel Comedy Club is on Wednesday, December 21.
People are invited to join in, donate food and snap a selfie with the comedians.
The food drive will be held from 2pm and a live comedy fundraiser show - featuring Aisling, Ed Gamble, Joel Dommett, Tatty Macleod and more - begins at 7.30pm.
Aisling said: “The cost-of-living crisis has brought many people and families to their knees the last few years and the people in food banks and The Trussell Trust are often their only line of defence. Their donation needs have escalated beyond belief.
“I am trying to drum up as many donations as possible for my local Hackney foodbank. With the help of the The Bill Murray comedy pub and a lot of my comedy and acting pals and the lovely members of the public, I hope we can make that happen whilst also raising awareness of how badly things have escalated."
Those attending will include comedians and actors from Derry Girls, The Lost Daughter, Game of Thrones, Big Boys, Doctor Who and Strictly.
At 5.30pm a choir will sing Christmas songs.
Creative director of The Bill Murray and Angel Comedy Barry Ferns said: “We want to raise as much money, profile and get as much food as possible.
“We’re really excited about it. I think this is what Christmas is all about.”
All proceeds will go to The Trussell Trust, Hackney Food Bank.
