Firefighters are tackling a blaze in Islington as flames burn through part of the third floor of a split-level flat.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 10.09am today (May 16) to a flat fire in Upper Gulland Walk.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Homerton, Holloway and Soho fire stations are currently tackling the blaze.
A LFB spokesperson said: “Half of the third floor of a split-level flat is alight. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.”
