Police have launched an investigation into a blaze that damaged part of a split-level flat in Islington.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 10.09am to a flat fire in Upper Gulland Walk.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Homerton, Holloway and Soho fire stations tackled the blaze.
A LFB spokesperson said that half of the third floor of a split-level flat was damaged by fire.
They added that the fire was under control by 10.59am and that there were no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
