Two men have been arrested after a 23-year-old was stabbed to death.
Yahye Ahmed was found with knife injuries just before midday in Axminster Road, Holloway, on Wednesday (August 30).
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the 23-year-old died at the scene.
Police announced today (September 4) that they have now arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of Yahye’s murder.
A 33-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both men remain in police custody at this time.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John said: “These arrests overnight are a significant development and we are keeping Yahye’s family informed.
“I would still encourage anyone who has information, or who witnessed the events of that morning to contact police.”
