A crime scene was in place throughout yesterday after a fatal stabbing in Holloway.
Police were called to reports of a fight in Tufnell Park Road just before 7.30pm on Monday (December 11).
A 21-year-old man was found at the scene with stab wounds and rushed to hospital.
He died in the early hours of yesterday morning (December 12) and has since been named as Mohamed Abdi-Noor from Islington.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with his murder and will appear at Highbury Youth Court today (December 13).
Yesterday, a crime scene remained in place while police investigation work was carried out.
A cordon spanning Tufnell Park Road blocked off the largely residential street to traffic close to the junction with Holloway Road.
Metropolitan Police officers and forensics investigators were present at the scene throughout the day.
Officers continue to investigate and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6283/11Dec.
