A cyclist has died after she was reportedly hit by a bin lorry in Clerkenwell.
Police were called to the junction between Clerkenwell Road and Farringdon Road just after 8.15pm yesterday evening (March 19).
A 33-year-old woman was found seriously injured, and despite the efforts of emergency services died at the scene.
A police spokesperson said that the woman’s next of kin have been informed.
They added that the driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this time, and all road closures were lifted at around 5am this morning (March 20).
