A post office in Caledonian Road has applied for a licence to sell alcohol.
Cale Off Licence and Post Office, at 320 Caledonian Road, has applied to Islington Council for a premises licence.
If approved, alcohol could be sold at the premises between 8am and 10pm Monday to Saturday, and between 10am and 10pm on a Sunday.
The Post Office is currently open from 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and until 1pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays.

Comments on the application can be made until April 4.
