A man has been arrested after a mobile phone theft in Holloway.
Police were called to the reported theft just after 5.30pm on Saturday (April 6).
Locals told Islington Gazette that the incident took place close to the junction with Eburne Road, and that there was “prolonged screaming”.
Officers rushed to the scene “within minutes” and the phone was quickly tracked down and returned to the victim.
A man was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident.
No serious injury was reported as a result of the theft, a Met spokesperson added.
