A woman is still fighting for her life after being hit by a car near Kings Cross station.
The Metropolitan Police were called at around 3pm on Thursday (May 16) to reports that the woman, in her 30s, was struck by the car while crossing Pentonville Road at the junction with King’s Cross Road.
London Ambulance Service attended alongside officers and rushed the woman to hospital.
She was said to be in a critical condition and the police have revealed today (May 19) that is still fighting for her life.
The driver of the BMW had stopped at the scene but was not arrested and is assisting the police with their enquiries.
Officers have urged anyone who witnessed the crash, or any road users with footage, to call the police on 101 quoting reference CAD4578/16May.
