Three men have been charged with heroin and crack cocaine offences after police stopped a Mercedes near Brentwood.
Essex Police officers pulled the black Mercedes over on the A12 in Montnessing just after 11pm on Wednesday evening (October 9).
Suspected class A drugs were recovered by police and two suspects were arrested on suspicion of drug offences. Police also seized three mobile phones.
The next day (October 10), officers carried out a warrant in Stoke Newington.
A third man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
The three men have been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (October 12).
Farid Ntansah, 27, of Stoke Newington Church Street, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin.
Baboucarr Taal, 34, of Somerton Road, Cricklewood, is charged with possessing with intent to supply crack cocaine and possessing with intent to supply heroin.
Daniel Asante, 28, of Ormond Road, Stroud Green, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possessing with intent to supply crack cocaine, and possessing with intent to supply heroin.
